Introduction to Acts 9:11

The life of the Lord’s servant is marked by many experiences, especially listening to the voice of the Lord, and it is often at this moment that our God surprises us, showing his greatness and great love for the life of man.

Ananias had no idea how much the revelation he had from the one true God would change his life and the lives of many to come; doing God’s will is a commitment of every servant of the Lord.

Development

Ananias: represents the faithful church that listens to the voice of the Lord. It also represents the faithful servant who heeds the Lord’s voice and does his will.

The direction: “…go to Rua Direita,…

Our God always shows us the way we should walk, he never makes mistakes, there was a purpose in that revelation, the project of Salvation was being fulfilled in Saul’s life.

He believed in the revelation: (verse 17) – “And Ananias went…”

Obeying is better than sacrifice, believing and doing the work that God has directed is everything in the life of the Church and of God’s servant. But it’s true that if Ananias hadn’t heeded God’s revelation, the Lord would certainly have sent someone else in his place.

Being used by the Lord is a privilege, hearing his voice is incredible, and obeying without question is the best choice. Ananias still dared to question the Lord because he knew who Saul was, but it was necessary, because God had chosen him to be a vessel, an instrument to save the sinner, as well as a witness to God’s love and mercy.

Conclusion of Acts 9:11

The ministry of the Lord Jesus present in the midst of the Church

The Lord’s church is ready to hear the Lord’s voice, willing to be sent and to believe that God has the power to save and transform mankind.

Your position is to go and meet the new convert, pray for him and assist him so that the scales fall from his eyes and he is baptized with the Spirit.

Paul was a blessing, but God used Ananias for the initial assistance to get him on the Way. This assistance was all done in the revelation of the Lord.
