It is more precious than rubies, and whatever else you may desire cannot be compared to it. Length of days is in her right hand, and on her left are riches and honor. Her ways are paths of delight, and all her paths of peace. It is a tree of life to those who take hold of it, and happy are all those who retain it." Wisdom guides us when making decisions, protects us from dangers and leads us along the path of justice and truth. It enables us to discern good from evil, to make wise choices and to live in harmony with God and our neighbors. Let us seek wisdom in God through prayer, reading the Bible and meditating on his teachings. May divine wisdom be our guide and our most precious treasure. The fear of the Lord as the beginning of wisdom The fear of the Lord is the foundation of true wisdom. It is the recognition of God's sovereignty, His holiness and His power. It is the reverence and respect for God that leads us to seek His will and obey His commandments. Proverbs 9:10 says: "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is prudence." When we fear the Lord, we turn away from evil and seek to live according to his principles. The fear of the Lord leads us to humility, obedience and trust in God. It frees us from pride, arrogance and self-sufficiency, which are obstacles to growth in wisdom. Let us cultivate the fear of the Lord in our hearts, recognizing his greatness and his authority over our lives. May the fear of the Lord be the foundation of our wisdom and the guide of our steps. The wisdom that comes from above True wisdom is not the fruit of human intelligence or worldly experience. It is a gift from God, given to those who seek it with sincerity and humility. James 3:17 describes the wisdom that comes from above: "But the wisdom that comes from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, teachable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy." Divine wisdom manifests itself in a pure, peaceful, merciful and just character. It produces good fruit in our lives, such as love, kindness, peace, patience and self-control. Let us seek the wisdom that comes from above, opening our hearts to the action of the Holy Spirit. May he guide us and enlighten us, so that we can live in wisdom and reflect the character of Christ in our actions and attitudes. Living in the sunlight of justice The metaphor of the "sun" in Ecclesiastes 7:11 points to the light of truth and knowledge, which illuminates the path of those who seek divine wisdom. Jesus Christ is the "Sun of Righteousness" (Malachi 4:2), who came into the world to free us from the darkness of sin and guide us to eternal life.
