However, water alone is not enough. Wine, in its right measure, symbolizes joy, enthusiasm and the celebration of life in God.
• Joy: Medicine for the Sick Soul: We often meet dedicated servants of God, but they convey an image of sadness and heaviness. They seem to carry the burden of ministry without experiencing the true joy that comes from the Holy Spirit. The lack of this joy can be a sign of a sick soul, in need of healing and deliverance.

• Joy: Health for the Body and the Church: Lack of joy can affect not only spiritual health, but also physical health. A joyful heart is like good medicine, while sadness can make us sick. In the church, the genuine joy of the servants contributes to a healthy, welcoming environment conducive to spiritual growth.

Conclusion

The joy of God’s servant is different from the superficial joy of the world. It is deep, lasting and based on the certainty of salvation and communion with God. It is a joy that enables us to face difficulties, persevere in faith and infect the world with the hope of the Gospel. May we, as God’s servants, drink of the wine of joy and overflow this joy in our lives and ministries!
